They quoted $20 per lock on the phoneplus $29 trip charge and then charged $575 to rekey two lock-sets. We had the keys and did not need the locks replaced. I called three days in a row and was told they would call me back with invoice details and I never got a call back. Now I have to go through my bank to dispute the charge. Another local company said they would only charge $95 total for the same service. This place is a total rip-off and terrible customer service. Do not use.
Locksmith could not open the lock. He used only one flat pick in a pick gun for about 3 minutes before giving up and saying he had to drill the lock, destroying the knob. Had no time to argue (had to get to work). The office called to see how the service went and said $180 was a good price. I disagree! At least I was able to replace the lock at the hardware store without needing to change keys. (Don't buy your locks/knobs from a smith; they charge through the nose.)
Called locksmith Decatur when I lost my car keys and they are absolutely great! They made a key for me on the spot and have it program as well, thank you for great service!!
This place is a complete rip off. We were given an estimate of $54 over the phone and were charged $168 because our smart lock is "complex." According to the house sitter, the guy was here for less than 10 minutes. How complicated could it really be if it takes less than 10 minutes? I can understand a small difference in cost from an estimate, but that's over 3x what we were told. What a nightmare. We will never, mark my words NEVER use this company again or recommend it to anyone.
