Medlock park has a good playground for smaller kids as well as lots of baseball fields and other green spaces. There is a track that runs around most of the park that's nice to walk on. Parking is usually plentiful during the week, and they've recently added more parking which helps for busy days when the baseball fields are fully occupied.
