We just had our dog put down and our 8 year old son wanted to be a part of it. We were in a special room that was warm and inviting. They sat with us on the floor and told our kid exactly what was good to happen in terms he could understand. It was very peaceful and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience given the situation!
Everyone at Saint Francis was fantastic to work with, from the front desk staff to the Vet and Tech who took great care of my baby. There was a long wait to be seen but they made that known from the beginning of our visit and regularly checked in. I wasn't upset because this is an ER and they were so communicative. They were super gentle and patient when my dog was nervous of the exam room and they went above and beyond to answer all my worried questions. It was so convenient when they came out with a bag of all the medicines needed with specific instructions typed out to take home. Hopefully we don't ever have a need to go back but if we do, I'd choose them over anyone else! Highly recommend.
My dog had a allergic reaction to something outside. I was so scared and worried feeling like my heart was broken. The staff was so pleasant and friendly and show concern. They treated my dog with care and Love and they made her feel welcome and assured her that she's going to be OK.

Staff and doctors were exceptional, extremely courteous, informative and caring. Front staff kept me up to date on wait times. Facility is beautiful, clean and modern. Diagnosis was thorough and the doctor explained every step of the way. They gave me an estimate of the cost before they did any treatment, this was a big plus! We had to wait 3 hours before being seen, but we had to be bumped twice because of more critical patients, which i understand, if my baby was dying, I'd want to be seen first too - its just triage. I will always bring my babies here in the future, cannot recommend highly enough.
The care my pet received was excellent. The staff was knowledgeable and caring. They got him back to his old self and I am thankful for that. The negatives are the long wait times, the fees are too high, and I don't like being charged a $150 miscellaneous fee as a buffer for services that is never accounted for. No one should have to go in debt to take care of their pet.
